Ridgefield Ophthalmology provides medical, surgical and cosmetic eye care. Christienne F. Coates, MD is the medical and surgical director of Ridgefield Ophthalmology - she is fellowship trained in oculoplastic surgery. Dr. Coates is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and practices both general, comprehensive ophthalmology and oculoplastics.
Routine eye exams, glasses and contact lens prescriptions. Glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic and hypertensive eye screenings. Dry eyes, excessive tearing, blepharitis, chalazia, eyelid tumors and eye infections. Eyelid surgeries (malposition correction), lid lifts, and tear drainage surgeries are performed at Ridgefield Surgery Center and Greenwich Hospital. Botox and Juvederm are in-office treatments offered at Ridgefield Ophthalmology. New patients welcome. We accept most medical insurance plans. Emergency eye care is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
